Role and Context

The Corporate Information Security team are responsible for Cyber and Information Security strategy, assessments and budgetary planning for all Ooredoo Group Operating Companies (OPCO's). This role supports the department objectives by developing blueprints, creating strategy and assessing maturity of OPCO security functions.

 

 

Role Accountabilities

  • Develop Information Security Architecture blueprints for Ooredoo Group companies.
  • Assist Ooredoo OPCO's in creating and enhancing Cyber & Information Strategy and Transformation including supporting/developing plans/roadmaps for security strategy/target operating model/proposed improvements etc.
  • Assist Ooredoo OPCO's in implementing best practices to ensure the alignment and efficiency of all stakeholders involved in Cybersecurity services and related processes.
  • Review and approve Cyber and information security spend for OG OPCO's.
  • Plan and execute annual maturity assessments using Ooredoo Group IGF (Information Security Governance Framework).
  • Plan and executive periodic technical security assessments for OPCO's and facilitate improvement/mitigation plans.

Experience and Qualifications

  • At least 10 years’ experience in information security management, planning and operations.
  • Thorough understanding of Telecom network and its security and business Continuity standards and procedures in telecom.
  • Good knowledge of Contracts management.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

 Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Business Administration.
